Karl Johnson joined MTBC with the acquisition of MediGain (Millennium Practice Management Associates). As a Principal at Millennium, Karl was instrumental in its growth over nearly 20 years. He was an early pioneer in leveraging offshore resources. His early career consisted of operations, marketing and physician management for the US Navy, John Muir Medical Center, Tenet Healthcare and a Catholic health system. He holds a BS and MHA from Brigham Young University.
Suzanne Cassimore is the Coding Director at MTBC. Suzanne has over 25 years of experience in coding, education, and compliance. She is certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA). She previously at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at three different locations in New York and New Jersey. She also has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.
Mitch has been a senior advisor to the healthcare industry for over two decades. He has consulted healthcare organizations of all sizes on issues relating to payment care, revenue models, and optimization of practice software. He is proficient in over a dozen EMR/PM systems. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences including Beckers, AAOE and regional MGMA conferences. In previous roles at WebMD and Greenway Medical Technologies Mitch worked with thousands of providers, helping them attest for multiple programs including MIPS/MACRA compliance and working towards the same services for Value Based Programs and all things compliance Mitchell is a principal with Healthcare Compliance Network and is a CHC.
